This is a company PC but I use my private OneDrive account as I have an Office subscription so I have plenty of space there. Long story short - there has also been threads on MacRumors and apple talking about this. (for example, here it says OneDrive shouldn't take double the space (one for cache, one for root).

I have Windows 10 Enterprise and Office Professional Plus 2016. They do provide an option to put the cache on an external location but for some reason that still takes up space of the internal drive when it's in use. Please help!!! It is very important for me.
